Chiefs go for two hours with no results

By Chase Snider

Springfield – After more than two hours of play at Pottenger Field on the campus of Kickapoo High School by the Chiefs freshmen football team against the Glendale Falcons there was no result on Monday night. The Chiefs had a chance to take the game with 32 seconds left on the clock and a first & goal but didn’t succeed. This was followed by a OT (overtime) sudden death period. After the Chiefs were again unsuccessful in their drive, the Falcons, were also not able to make any progress. So the night ended for Kickapoo freshmen football with a 0-0 tie.
